Guided Participatory Learning
Approach
Our courses will emphasize a Participatory Learning and Action (PLA) approach creating a space for knowledge sharing and kinetic learning.
Format
Adapting to diverse lifestyles, our courses will be offered in online, hybrid, or in-person capacities based on what is best for the topic matter.
Concepts
We will provide micro-courses and certification courses. Certification courses will highlight permaculture design, trainer of trainers, and wastewater management. Micro-courses will focus on topics that are pertinent to the current climate, including growing in crowded spaces, disaster preparedness, regenerative animal systems, and soil remediation.
COLLABORATION
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a Permaculture Design Certification course but need experienced teachers. Maybe you want a hybrid trainer of trainers course for your team. Or maybe you have a creative course to share with the world. Let’s collaborate bringing your vision to reality with our team of experienced educators!
FREE Online Panel | Climate Change Impacts: How Can Permaculture Support Vulnerable Communities
Register Below
Join Us for a free online panel discussion on climate change impacts and how permaculture can support vulnerable communities.
Panelists Rosemary Morrow, Warren Brush, Galawezh Bayiz, and Rina Mattinson will share their experiences working alongside communities on the frontline of climate change and discuss ways permaculture can be adapted for different cultures and quickly shifting climates.
The lines between those directly impacted by climate change and those who only hear of it in the news are growing thin. Simultaneously, communities without the resources to respond in advance or recover are increasing in frequency and volume as relief resources are thinning. How can permaculture provide localized and global mitigation, migration, and recovery options? What communities are currently vulnerable?
What does it look like to prepare for disaster, steward existing resources, build resilient ecological and social systems, and access necessary resources when climate disasters occur?
Following the panel discussion, we will have a Q&A.
